I’m KateDos and I’ve been knitting for well, a long time. Originally, I started looking into getting into the online knitting community beyond finding patterns on Ravelry. There’s so much more to the knitting community than just my LYS (local yarn store)!
Recently, my sister started asking me questions about knitting. I realized that I have a lot of knowledge and I’m writing it all down here as a reference for knitters that want to grow beyond the basics.
Why unraveled? Because I think we’re all a little unraveled in our own ways. I’m learning to piece myself together one stitch at a time. Knitting is letting me find a community of people that are all a little unraveled.
In addition to knitting, I also crochet and cross stitch. I’ve also worked needle and shuttle tatting, a little quilting, and some sewing. My next goals are to try nalbinding and weaving.
